Comments Different from Kado and Katu. SOV; CV(V); a voiced-voiceless distinction only for fricatives; no tense or nasalized vowels; nouns mostly polysyllabic, other words mostly monosyllabic; many loanwords from Chinese; tonal, 8 tones.
