Part of the Miao nationality. 'Maojiahua' is a variety of Chinese spoken by about 20,000 members of the Miao nationality in southwestern Hunan, Chengbu Miao Autonomous County, Xining and Suining, and in northeastern Guangxi, Longshen Pan-nationalities Autonomous County and the area around Ziyuan, with 7 tones.
